Did any one see the odd lights in the sky just off the coast travelling at a steady speed West to East just after the England game on Saturday

It was the hopes and ambitions of the England team flying off into oblivion.

Funny you should say that (though I didn't see them)...I believe in UFOs. In fact I saw some when we lived in the villa near Porches.....I went up onto the roof one evening and saw some strange lights movin around in the sky (too high for helicopters)...
the villa was up for sale & 2 agents came round. I told them what I had seen and one said 'Oh thats normal..you often see strange lights here in the sky'!
and Ive seen the same in Benenden in Kent. One night I couldn't sleep so got up to open window wider.....and as I looked up to the dark sky I saw what I thought was 'stars'moving around.....
I also have a video of a pilot that flies from Portsmouth to the channel islands...one day he was flying over when he saw a massive object, then another. His passengers saw them too. He said they were solid and round..he also said he'd like to shake the hands of the being that fashioned them!
If they have hands....................................

It is indeed.
I counted 2 close together then shortly after 3 more all travelling in the same direction at the same speed and no noise. What were they, sadly I left my specs in the house and there wasn't time to get them

My guess would be sky lanterns.......Paper lanterns that you light a flame inside and they go uplike a hot air balloon. Generally used instead of fireworks for party celebrations. We had some here for my daughters 21st last week and new years eve x

My son & I also saw strange lights in the sky above CVO one evening about 2 years ago. There were several close together travelling west to east, they then veered off and headed SW across the sea. There were no sounds, and they did not look planes. It was not windy, so paper lanterns would not act like that. Pleased to hear I'm not the only one to have witnessed this. I am open minded, but they were geuinely freaky.

Hi Sam
Sounds like you saw similar sightings that I did....on the roof of our villa. As Ive said before the fella who came round to us said that strange lights have been seen often over Algarve!
Laser, I believe in God the Creator and I don't believe we are the only 'beings' in the whole of the Universe....
Man is very arrogant and thinks hes the superior being but if 'others' can fly here they must be infinetly superior to us?
When I was a girl at grammar school I once asked my Sunday school teacher if God was the creator of all things including the Universe and other planets and he said he was.
I watched a programme one night in which a Swedish scientist said many scientists were coming round to the fact that the Universe was created and therefore there must be a Creator?

I often see them as well - must be the Super-bok!

The explanation is quite simple - you are seeing the engine exhausts of fighter planes on night exercise - one of the usual NATO training exercises involves flying out to the Azores, refuelling and returning - but I still reckon its Super-Bok
