Hello

I wondered if anyone could recommend any yoga classes in Carvoeiro - I will be spending a week there later this month. I'm also interested in pilates, tai Chi etc but yoga is what i do regularly at home

Yoga classes are every Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Tennis Club. Also there may now be a class at 6:30 p.m. the same day. Great instructor and some of the group usually stay for a chat and a coffee afterwards. I spend winters in Carvoeiro and can highly recommend the classes - in fact I am missing them already. Enjoy!

We also overwinter in Carvoeiro, and my wife loves the aerobics and zumba classes at the Tennis Club. Think the coffee and chat are almost as important as the excercise.

You don't need any experience for the classes, you follow the moves as best you can and don't push yourself past your comfort level. Gabrielle the instructor will ask you about previous experience or any health issues - enjoy!

What's zumba?

Zumba is excercise dance, which my wife says is great fun. Suggest you look it up on you-tube.

Highly recommended comes Karl's drop in yoga classes at Ginasio Just Body fitness, Parquet Empresarai domAlgarve Lagoa. He is highly trained and his classes are well attended and fun...best yoga in the Algarve.
