We are coming to CVO for the 9th time soon, staying at vale de milho for the 3rd time. We always get a car and whilst we are this year, there is a larger party of us and I wanted to confirm that a bus from town will stop at the bus stop just down from the bottom of the hill up to Vale de Milho (near Centianes beach) - and do you know (a) where you get it from, (b) how frequently they are (c) what time they run from/to and (d) how much it is?

Horários - Lagôa->Praia do Carvalho/ Club Atlantico just past rocha brava. bus stop is at the bottom of VDM towards Centianes beach.

The train runs to Vale do Milho - not sure of the times though

Train dosnt stop or pick up passengers .
You get on in Carvoeiro center and are returned there, the taxi drivers but a stop to the picking up and dropping off on route around carvoeiro years ago, for obvious reasons.

Andy - we got off outside our house last Summer - but I understand your point

We go on the train every time (thanks to having an excitable 4year old!!) but it's never stopped other than in town?

Did you ask him to stop?

I'm not saying anybody is wrong and was not aware that it went to VdM until I saw it go past our property one morning. The next time we were in town and together with a friend we took the train home, while the Ladies drove - it took the train forever - but he stopped at our house when we asked him to.

I can understand the Taxi drivers getting 'excited' - but there's no competition as the train is far too slow and infrequent. We won't be doing that again.
