Are the supermarkets on Good Friday in Carvoeiro ? I arrive mid afternoon Friday and will need to get some basics in.

The large supermarkets are NOT open they close at 1.00pm, Not sure about Pinge Doce in Lagoa.

Thank you EMM. Anyone know about Pingo Doce opening hours Friday please although if EAsyjet's new summer timetable does not get back on schedule it could be late Friday before I arrive!.

Where do you live or are you staying??
If you are renting, your letting /management company can put in a grocery pack for you.
If not I'm sure a neighbour off the forum could get you the basics, and you could pick them up from them when you arrive.

I know it is a way to go but the Modelo at Silves I have been told is open all day

Pingo doce closing 2 pm on Easter Sunday
