Duncan,

There is a big new supermarket Mercadona in the new commercial centre left on the big downhill road you take to come into Ayamonte. There is a also a supermarket Supersol actually in Ayamonte itself just off the road near the ferry. There is also Eroski supermarket which is on the first main roundabout you take after crossing the bridge in Ayamonte to go to the playas.

Hope this helps

:)

They would have to be a lot cheaper to cover the fuel costs getting there unless you were very clever and arrived t with just fumes in the tank and then filled up to the brim with cheaper spanish fuel.

Is it less expensive than Portugal (food) - I know the fuel is?
