I came over 16 th Jan using Nat West Gold Card Tavel Insurance Iv,e decided to stay now until end of March I contacted The Insurance Co to extend my insurance for an extra 43 days they now tell me this can only be done before leaving the U.K. Does anybody know of a Portuguese Co who Is likely to issue a suitable Policy for a single trip.

Why don't you try another UK insurer and explain your situation to see if they would provide limited cover.

Standard policies in either country normally require cover before you travel and they would probably be suspicious about somebody requiring cover for a trip they are on.
