Hi, regular visitor to Carvoeiro, know there is a Golf shop in Carvoeiro, hire clubs, has anybody got information on the prices of club hire as it is getting more and more expensive to bring clubs onto the flights, coming over in September and hope to get a few rounds in.

Most of the golf clubs here have rental sets as well, specifically Pinta, Gramacho and the Faldo and O'connor courses.

I don't know the cost but, as you say, at £37.00 per return trip, rental has to be an option.

The shop that was in Monte Carvoeiro has moved, can't remember where.

The Golf shop on the " in road " does weekly daily rentals, the golf shop that was at Monte Carvoerio has closed and now operates out of a village near lagos .

Thanks for the information, I have already booked my clubs on our flight, but we have a number of other players coming over so I can give them the option.

Shame the one in MC has closed, as it had a good range of clothes etc and everyone was really nice in there. Richard bought a few things from them. Was always a pleasure to pop in and say hi even if not buying. Would love to know the details on their new place, tel address etc. Many thanks xx

Thats where they have moved to, it on the 125 in the village, easy to miss,

Mark went into the Carvoeiro golf shop on the "In Road" today. They hire out a full set of clubs for 12,50 euros a day, 30 euros for 3 days, 50 euros for 7 days or 90 euros for 14 days.

They also hire out shoes for 10 euros per day and electric trolleys which last for 36 holes for 10 euros per day, 25 euros for 3 days, 45 euros for 7 days or 85 euros for 14 days.

They also offer competitive rates on green fees for all courses in the Algarve. For example, Pinta & Gramacho in Dec/Jan is 44 euros.
