The UK weather forecasters keep referring to the current mediterranean heat wave. Looking at the weather in CVO it would suggest you are part of this.
I'm due out there a week Friday and hoping the heat wave will still be going strong.
Any long range forecasters out there?

Apparently thunderstorms are predicted but hopefully they'll come & go quickly & we'll be back to the wonderful weather we've been having since the beginning of June. Very overcast & muggy today where we are.

I'm afraid I'm responsible for the lousy weather in the UK. I bought an airconditioner.

haha... I thought it was me I bought a new gas barbecue....
The weather in Portugal is quiet dull and cloudy, earlier it was very drizzly too, The end of August can be quiet changeable we have had torrential downpours as well as thunderstorms in other years. Should get better again for September/November tho'

We always say it rains at least once in August. Cutting it a bit fine this year

we have arrived here recently, come quite often to visit parents. Weather rubbish yesterday, rain and cloud all day and more cloud today, not a hint of the sun! Add to this the garbage music they provide in the square and the top prices and perhaps we should have stayed in the UK.

completecarvoeiro, why dont you mind your own business? I made a comment based on the weather at the time and the undoubted sky high prices AND the rubbish entertainment in the square.
Do you know what tourist means? Clearly not, I am a visitor to my parents, I have been for over 15 years so I can say with at least a little authority that the "entertainment" in the square has gradually gone down and down over the years.
I guess you are one of the miserable sorts out here who want the whole place to yourself whilst quietly moaning to yourself rather than saying what you think. I will continue to VISIT here and I will continue to air my views, by all means air yours but dont be rude or you will find others can be rude too.
Ps Suns out today, entertainment still naff though.......
