Does anyone know why both these restaurants were closed on Friday evening ? We recommended both to friends here on holiday

That's worrying! We arrive on Saturday 5th Sept and Ele Ela would prob be our Thursday or Friday venue. Hope all is OK.

A Rede was also shut on Friday - vey mysterious! Perhaps they all went to the opening of the Fatacil!!!

Maybe due to Harald and Kim's wedding? Weren't they getting married in August?

There was a big wedding on Friday as someone came into Job's bar (someone called Carol?) and said they had been at a wedding all day.

Kim and Harald were married on Friday in a ceremony at Algar Seco. There was a reception there afterwards.
