Can any one tell me what date the sand sculptures at Pera are closing this year. Thank you

22nd October, Patti. Trouble is, we went that time last year and they were looking rather the worse for wear. I had seen them in their full glory early in the season and although it was still impressive, not quite as good!

you should go its well worth a visit, and its not expensive for drinks and snacks when you get inside. i took the kids to this in june and they loved it i would go again next year to see it.

My problem is that everyone who comes out to stay with me wants to see it, so I do at least 3 visits a year. This year that is two visits within 7 days - interesting it is, but not THAT interesting!!! My reward will be dinner at Rui's in Silves, so I will just get on with it!!!

Lazerblazer,thank you for a great video, the sculptures look as fantastic as last years. Anyone who has not been to this annual event should make a visit.
