Hi,

For those of you who usually bypass the home page and come directly to the forum and those of you who are longing for the "qaint old village" of Carvoeiro, be sure to go the the home page and click on the links of Steen's entry on the home page: "The Internet never ceases to amaze me; today I have received an email from Mr. Tim Motion, the creator of the Sobe e Desce in 1967 (now the Jailhouse) in Carvoeiro, in response to the article "Memories of Rosita - Carvoeiro in the sixties" by Lois Rowe (August 1998). Please read both I am sure you'll enjoy them :-) 29-07-2009to and read the memories of "Rosita" and Tim Morton, you can also view some of Mr. Motions photos, very charming and enchanting. Heini

All I can say about Tim's account of CVO in the sixties is brilliant a much less frenetic live style must have prevailed. :)

Would love to have seen Cat Stevens and others in their prime in a small place like the Jailhouse.

mind you I don,t think that the place has been re decorated since 1969.
