Could anybody tell me what the bears in the square represent or am I missing something other than another holiday in CVO.

Its a travelling exhibition of Bears painted by a number of artists.

A few years back there was a similar event in Paris while we were there, but with cows, not bears. It was surreal to walk down the Champs Elysee and see a cow in a tree! Look Here
