Hi I have been to CVO a few times as a child and now I have a young family of my own am really looking forward to returning with my two pre-schoolers! We will be staying at the Quinta Do Paraiso but I could do with a suggestion please. We don't fancy hiring a car but I seem to remember the town hill being a bit of a walk back which is fine for us parents but I know the kids will struggle after an evening meal on the way back. I understand the shuttle buses from QDP stop at sixish. Are local taxis a good option with the whole car seat thing?? I know this sounds a bit trivial but we think it could make a difference to holiday enjoyment! thanks for reading!!

I'm sure others will follow but welcome to the forum. Cabs are best bet up to QDP and not expensive, enjoy your holiday, difficult not to in Carvoeiro.
