Hi all, I have just received a spam email in my inbox here from someone called profilicus. The message was titled Forum administration. DO NOT OPEN IT!!!! It is spam and may damage your pc.

Can anyone tell me who and how I report this user?

Yes I got this too.... I suspect it has gone to a lot of CV users. i did not know how to report this as spam as i couldn't see a spam link in the message box. I have deleted it but I did open it.... Does anyone else know if it can infect your PC? I think it is just SPAM adware..am surprised the mail got through though especially as I have set my settings to not rec direct e-mail through the site!

It is a newly registered user sending spam via PM, I have blocked his account and IP address I did not get the message myself so I can not comment on the risk of malicious code. Anyone else concerned please delete the PM, and obviously never click on a link in one of these messages. Any questions please email webmaster@carvoeiro.com

I had one and also one from another forum so the guy is getting about!

Steen, I am sorry to see you have blocked PMs going to more than one member at a time. I use multi-PMs to keep in contact with 'friends' and now we can't do it any more. Would you reconsider reinstating this function? It is a pain in the bum having to send out the same PM to everyone in single PMs.

I hope it's not going to be that one stupid individual gets to spoil everything for everyone else.

I got an email in outlook to say I had a new private message but there was nothing there? Could this have been the same spam email,just deleted it
