'tis the Season of Good Will - howzabout a bit of fun Cvo lovers!
We all have come across locals etc. who make our day/holidays etc. so who would you vote as deserving of an award eg. webmaster of the year, bar of the year, shop of the year, hotel of the year, drinker of the year award (Maddi?) etc. etc. think forum users can think of lots of categories! Who would get a 'raspberry award'?

Our Four Legged friend or 8 in this case award goes to the 2 big 'wolves' that block the traffic in the square-they have provided us with laughter watching them stand their ground against the impatient car drivers & especially when they have even appeared at our apartment to drink the pool water :P (apologies to all those who don't like animals

Other Award goes to the local taxi drivers, who couldnt be more polite & helpful - if only we had that service back home.

There’s a topic entitled “guests” and I haven’t taken much interest, not bothered to vote.

But, hang on, this is interesting! Guest comes up with the idea of “2003 Awards” and nobody takes any notice. I’m sure if Guest had a name things would be very different.

Isn't it amazing? A 'guest' that isn't moaning about something! A Christmas miracle!

If anybody epitomises the true Carvoeiro and Portuguese spirit it has to Jose Neves (Taxi Driver).

He is the most polite, patient and efficient person our family has ever had the very good fortune to deal with.

Boas Festas, Jose

Have you tried Screwy Louie's bar on Est de Farol. A young couple who have been working very hard since August to give us another decent watering hole for the winter.
