Well, she passed her rabies shots with flying colours and she'll be off to the UK anytime after 22July. She will be going with our friends as planned, although we're not sure on the mode of transport yet, but might be by plane.
As you can see, she looks well and likes nothing better than to laze around on the patio.

For those of you not familiar with Daisy's plight, she used to look like this:

Daisy looks beautiful, all due I think to the very kind family who have been looking after her and giving her so much love. Hope we keep in touch with her new life back in the UK, it would be lovely to see photos of her after July when she has settled in.

Well done indeed. I hope she doesn't miss the sun too much.

If, as I suspect, she has her own passport, she'll be back now and again - if only to annoy Jasper.

Well, it's going to happen at long last. The bedraggled stray dog that had the good fortune to be taken in by Andy and his family, aided by neighbours, Brendan and Sheila, will soon be on her way to her new home in the UK.
She was delayed by an operation to spay her that took a bit longer to heal than expected - due to the fact that she kept biting at her stitches! She was eventually wrapped in an old tee-shirt, it was then wrapped with strong parcel tape to secure it . . . .

. . . but she managed most mornings to greet Andy with the 'lampshade' in situ but the tee-shirt on the floor!
She will be on her way on 13 October - her boosters up to date and the stitches fully healed. Good news for everyone, except Jasper - he's going to miss her.
Sharen and I visited her recently . . .

. . . and as you can see, she's OK.

This is one lucky dog that had the good fortune to be taken in by Andy and his family, and that their neighbours, Brendan and Sheila were good enough take her on and eventually get her to their home in the UK.
Thank you all for taking the time, trouble and cost involved in giving Daisy a happy life.

I'm betting she won't leave the fireside this winter.
