Round Up bar

Has anybody been ripped off in the "Round Up" bar, or is it just me?
Being a resident I thought it would be safe having a tab with a group of friends...
But found myself paying for a load of drinks which I know for sure none of us were drinking!!!
"Bunch of cowboys" springs to mind.

YES :!:
Earliier this year we were there and twice we got overcharged for a round of drinks. Once i can take as a error but twice is taking the Pi**
The problem is when you are on holiday and the drinks are flowing and some people arent sure of the money you can very easily get ripped off. Imagine how many people havent noticed, Im sure they must be raking in a fortune

I'm not agree. They've always been nice with us.
We are "tourist that come and go" and we have fantastic rememberance of this place. Maybe if you pay just when you are served...

(No estoy de acuerdo. Somos "turistas de los que vienen y se van" y tenemos recuerdos fantásticos de este lugar. Quizás si pagas justo cuando te sirven...)

Greetings.

I agree with what people say about paying as you drink, and will do in the future. But I can honestly say that I have never had the same problem in any other bar in Carvoeiro.
It`s just a shame they have to treat people the way they do....

My problem is that all the bars in CVO charge me much more than I want to drink, not more than I actually drink.

Yes and I go to a bar for a bottle of Champagne and end up ordering six. I can never remember six bottles but they always insist I pay for them.

Dear satisfied guest

You could have called them so many things including drunkards and whingers but "jellous" (sp) - what's that about!!!!!

Maddi

p.s. I don't think any of you are drunkards or whingers by the way, that would be hypocritical

Dear Guest
Because the staff at a bar try to rip me off that makes me jealous :?
That really makes sense
Maybe you should think before you write.
And by the way the two times they tried to rip me off i wasnt running a tab i was buying a round of drinks and paying straight away over the bar.
So all im saying is be careful when you use the bar, i still use it but i make sure i check my change and what i've been charged for more thoroughly there.

I'll get Sharen to buy the drinks. No-one would dare to short-change her!

My problem was not ordering a load of drinks and forgetting how many we had had, but being asked to pay for drinks which no one had drank!

Yes I agree that it is ALWAYS a ripp off everytime you buy a drink in there.

We have been there many times, and I always buy Big Will a cider too!

Maybe the Jailhouse will get our custom next time were there!
