AER LINGUS

I have just booked 2 return flights to Faro from Gatwick in July, on the new Aer Lingus twice daily service. To my pleasant surprise it worked out nearly £100 in total cheaper than the Easyjet fares on the same days. Proper airline and no unseemly sceamble for seats!! I do hope these prices are more than just loss leaders to establish the new route

1100 I have just received an e-mail from Easyjet slashing flights to Portugal by 20%....he-he...let battle commence

Funny about the seat scrabble because I find the EJ method better. Because most people move down towards the middle of the plane (from either end) your not hanging around waiting for people to stow their luggage and get seated.

seen this as well. We are coming out in April & booked flights with Monarch, but looking at these for september/october stay
problem is that if you book in advance you might find they dont exist at that time. Ryanair have already tried twice to take them over.

Yeah...but the Irish government has blocked that one....so I think you are safe on that one. ALSO.....one advantage the airlines look for in take overs is getting routes and landing slots. Look at how the Easyjet schedule has almost doubled to Faro from Gatwick since it took over the GB Air slots
