We are staying for 2 weeks in May. We have booked a centrally located villa as we are quite a large party and as its a special occasion (brothers 40th), we all wanted to stay under one roof.

Have previously stayed in villas and also Monte D, which was great as our children always seemed to make little friends round the pool.

We have a very sociable 4yr old. Plan to do the train, waterpark, ? sand festival etc...... but I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any kids clubs/discos or activities at any of the local hotels or complexes that non guests can pay to use? We also have a 2 yr old.

Quinta do Paraiso Club does a kid's Disco. I don't know what the score is regarding non residents but I suspect if you spend some money whilst there nobody will worry. They also have a crazy golf. A trip to http://www.carvoeiro.com/Guide/fontes/index.html is fun. There are waterside nature walks, picnic area and a children's play area. There is also a nice play area at the top of the hill next to the chapel.

Search the forum for info on Playoasis - would be ideal for 2 and 4 years olds

Unfortunately Play Oasis is closing at the end of the month ; teresa and John are trying new ventures. Quinta Paraiso has activities clubs , when I go past I will pop into the reception and see how the land lies.
