Hi, We are coming out to carvoeiro on 7th June for week and have booked a villa close to O Boteco. our problem is that we will get kicked out of the villa at 10am on the 14th June and our flight home is not until 7pm! With two kids i am a bit worried about walking round the village with our suitcases for the whole day.
Can anyone help? We are very willing to rent a room somewhere for the day as a base and so we can shower etc before we leave.
Our other alternative is to book an extra couple of days holiday in carvoeiro and return home on 16th June instead (when flights are £40 cheaper each!!!) So any suggestions would be most welcome.

the trouble is, anywhere that will let you have a shower will have to pay for a cleaner etc to redo the entire place, and it is probably not going to be cost effective - washing towels etc etc. have you spoken to the Villa owners - chances are that they will let you stay a bit longer anyway.
If you can stay longer, then why not check into the Sol which is not very pricey, then you can stay as long as you like.

I assume you are planning to return to the airport on a coach. How about sending Steen an email asking about hiring a car for the last day, picking it up from cvo and dropping off at Faro. You could then spend the day taking a look along the coast or travelling inland and having a nice lunch at one of the roadside cafes. It would probably work out cheaper and you would escape the coach journey.

Sadly, none of us drive but loving the idea!
