Id be very interested to know what sort of property is up for sale at 100,000euros in Carvoeiro(is that around £65,000?)--would this be just a tiny 1-bed apartment ?
Trying not to be pendantic --but shouldnt this be on property pages--but I "am" interested
Could I have details please

Youre not alone Gerry--must confess I was a bit confused with the message of selling or buying
Ive done a daft thing --put my e-mail address --instead of sending to one on message

and that was "before" I had the "rosy" wine with me dinner

Sorry I was with Rob orignally, thought it was a clear message from someone who was "looking to buy", but it now appears that they are looking to sell, it can all be very difficult on a forum where any number of people do not have english as their first language and as this site is based in Portugal why would they have?

Hi Gerry,
Dont be pissed off mate---you add a lot to this forum---you always bring some fun to us with your stories and often brighten our day
Well--I put my e-mail there --but so far no reply!
Im still very interested in investing in a little place in CVO--so come on --what is this place on offer?
wish you a nice day,Ellie

I guess some may regard it a bit naughty but I posted this message; copied the original and stuck “IF” in front. I thought it a good way to illustrate the ambiguity (or near ambiguity) of the original. One could make a more subtle change: put a “?” at the end, and again you have a seller instead of a buyer.
I happen to know of a company called VARANDASOL (Varandasol-Construção Civil e Imobiliária Lda) a developer cum estate agency of sorts, could it be them? If so, they could be looking for a property for a client, or they could be selling and the ambiguity deliberate to ensure free advertising, especially with the use of the attention-grabbing INVESTMENT word for both the title and authors name.
Why hasn’t anyone answered gerry’s question anyway?

Rod called Gerry a tool - not Red?
I 'read' the advert as someone looking to buy,

not sell ? but now am well and truly perplexed......?????? Will go and get some brandy to open up the brain cells

The price does seem a bargain for Carvo.

You want me to get involved ?
Now what sort of tool could I call gerry that would make him annoyed....the tool that shapes bowler hats, or possibly the tool that puts the skins on lambeg drums... I wonder

Funny all the suggestion of intrigue with this particular post and the sniping for that matter when so many of you all fell over yourselves to help Christian and his motorbike courier advert which appeared to me a shameless attempt to get masses and masses of free internet advertising.
Just wondered why this one attracted your suspicians.
