Weather forecast

Post by twitchy »

I have been looking at the weather over the past 3 weeks during the build up to our 5 day break on the 29th. It seems to of been sunny and warm, but just as we prepare to come out the forecast for the next few days looks awful.
Has anyone got a decent forecast website that will help us decide on either bring golf waterproofs or shorts?

WindGURU is supposed to be a good site.

The winds blowing a hooley up here today, if it aint tied down it'll probably end up in Spain.

Whatever the weather in CVO that we will get over the next few days, it will be better than the zero temperature and the inch of snow that is outside!!
I suppose I should be grateful.

Beautiful blue sklies in carvoeiro today, the breeze can be a bit stiff though, take a cardi for evenings and at the odd points during the day.
the weather forcast has been wrong since we got here on monday.
forcasting rain each day - not happened yet.

We're having showers today and it's supposed to be the same for tomorrow. It's getting better for Saturday, thankfully as it's my son's 4th birthday and we're taking him and 8 friends to Zoomarine.

It's OK, Kteee. If you run out of logs, I know someone who can supply them. :)

17C is cold against the 26-27 we had earlier in the week. But if you just got off a plane from the UK you would find it relatively mild against UK temps.

Well its pouring down with rain outside, and the temperature has certainly dropped a good deal lower than they were earlier in the week. Got our lovely log fire burning and got our first Halloween Party here tomorrow, so hope it stops raining for that. BUT its still warmer than it is in the UK and at least we know it wont last for the next 12 months! My poor Mum rings me everday to tell me how windy/cold/raining/snowing it is there. Bless!
