Due to arrive CVO tomorrow (Sunday), have these works started yet?

If you mean the refurbish works on the square, and the in and out roads, there's nothing happening yet.

Work was due to begin early/mid October, so I guess its still on time

I heard that the restaurant owners on the hill have been lobbying the Camra against the proposed changes. They are worried about people preferring to eat out of town due to the increased difficulties in already difficult parking.
They have had a poorish year this year, and feel that they dont need extra difficulties.

We shall see.......

Sorry I didn't reply but good old XP pro crashed late on Sat 18th and so I left it till we got back from CVO. Yes I see that they havn't started yet - probably waiting till high season next year!
