Hi all,

I am looking into doing our own package to Cvo for a 4 night golf trip in mid June 09 and although I have priced the big yellow hotel halfway up the hill at an unbelievable £85 per person for the 4 nights I am also looking at the possiblity of hiring a villa or 2 side by side to each other for the 12 of us and are willing to pay more obviously for a bit more comfort/privacy.

Does anyone know of such a place/places?We MUST be within very easy walking of the village and by easy I mean 5 mins tops!

How old are these men & are they handsome & single?

all handsome and most single,aged from 28 to 50,core of us 29 to 35 with 4 old boys who think they are still 30!none as handsome as myself tho ......anyone any ideas re villas??

Perhaps us married girls should give them all a decko first, just to check they are suitable to be let out on the town in CVO at night.
Have you tried clube Laranja just up the hill where Jailhouse is. It has a swimming pool and tennis court and is hug e.

I think I may have found one! Has anyone ever stayed here,is it nice,handy for 12 guys,can anyone recommend it?
Just looking for a 2nd opinion as I now know where it is but would like some feedback from anyone on if it is a good property to stay in?

12 of us stayed at Quinta Dos Leoes booked through Villaplus.com a couple of yrs ago. It`s almost directly opposite the big yellow hotel, so only minutes from bars/restaurants etc. Very spacious and great outdoor area/pool etc. We had a great hol at this villa, I think helped by its central location. We were various ages inc a couple of seniors and children. Only flip-side is it may work out expensive?....

You can only rent weekly with Villaplus, but we went to Marbella for 4 nights with them once, and explained we wouldn`t be staying a full week, and they were fine about it. You have the option to book villa only, and arrange own flights.

We have just returned from CVO last week and stayed at a 3 bed villa (again through villaplus). I noted there were 2 big villas they offer next to the one we stayed at (5 bed and 6 bed I think), which we are considering for next year. The location was up the road the fresh food market is on, so again only 5 min from town but quite a steep hill to climb on way home!

Just sneaking in here , if any of you guys have any golf aches or pains , I am a qualified Sports and massage therapist. I also live in Carvoeiro and have local knowledge , so if you need any info let me know. Pm me for contact details.
