First thought is that you need a car, or spend all your time on very long walks!
Best for big shops will be Intermarche on the road out from Carvoeiro to the N125/Lagoa,you'll need a car for that. Or what was Modelo also on the N125. Also a car job! There are local shops around Sesmarias, but obviously more expensive.
To get into Carvoeiro or get to beaches,,,,,car, taxis or spend your entire holiday walking
Get the hint running through this post?

There is a Spar shop on the main road leading to Ferragudo which is quite well stocked and does have a small bakery area.

Long walks are not a problem , Iam guessing that I could make it into cvo in an hour (taxi back) .
Intend doing 3-4 hours walking each day , I live on an island with no cars we walk everywhere , time will be no problem.
Just need to pick up some essential supplies on the afternoon of arrival, bread , milk , butter , wine etc .
just needed to know location in sesmarias so I dont take the long route.
Have been checking locations of various places on google maps , just need a grocery shop now.
