I have been trying to call to speak to someone at O Bote for days now, nobody ever answers no matter what time of day or night I call, I have tried dialling 282357285 & the mobile number given in the newsletter. Does anyone know if there is a different number I should be trying.

If you still haven't got the number, I was talking to Paul yesterday and it is 913 668 200.
Cheers

Does anyone know the opening times for the bote? Is it somewhere you can go for pre dinner drinks? Friends of mine have told me the terrace bar is fab so was thinking of it giving it a try at the weekend?

Not sure on opening times but we went in there about 10pm and it was open then although it was quiet at this time. I was very surprised as it is such a nice bar nwith amazing view over the beach. I don't think people realise how nice it is!!

I wonder, how long a bar without customers can exist. We tried it numerous times during the whole season (OK, always before 1 a.m.) and were more or less the only customers. Can anybody tell me, if it's different later on (around 2a.m. - 4a.m.)?

I was in there last night from about 1 onwards and it was fairly busy. They were saying they had considered just opening the upstairs bar during the quieter times so it has a more cosy atmosphere but then last night there were a quite a few on the dance floor so they may change there mind. I think it is quiet earlier on before the other bars close . Its a shame as it is a lovely spot and you'd think more people would go there for drinks earlier on in the evening.

Went to o bote last night and although it was quiet when we arrived it did start to get busier around midnight. Apparently the busiest times are after 2pm but I didn't stay that long as its way past my bed time! I thought it was a very nice bar/club though and I particuarly liked the terrace overlooking the beach. I will definatly go again.

I've been there almost every weekend the last few months.
It was always very busy from 2 till closing time.
Last night it was quiet compared to the previous months.

It's a shame that I couldn't contact them sooner in the end we went in one evening to talk to them about holding a party there, we said it was short notice & that as we had been unable to contact them on the numbers advertised we had to know very quickly if they could fulfill the requirements, which weren't complicated . Over a week passed before they got back to me in which time we had made other arrangements. They obviously must be doing quite well as they didn't seem that eager to host a party for 50 or so people in the evening.

Yes we were eager and as i explained to you on the telephone,i lost your contact and was enable to give you the prices we had worked on for you.
Luckily i remembered (too late) that the gentleman from Carvoeiro.com knew you and that he might have your contact... I'm afraid we delayed the answer for 5 days.. Maybe next time...
Thanks for the interest.
