Forgive Mrs Jones....she is auditioning to be my PR Agent....and failing!!

For the record, there are no photographs, and far from being a Brucie brag....it was a humbling occasion.

In the presence of greatness....an experience that Mrs Jones has also experienced

Hi Bruce

Following our elevation to famous people perhaps we should meet our lowly humble admirers together.

There is no entertainment in the square on Tuesday so perhaps we could share the stage together.

If either 1/ no-one shows up after, say, 5 minutes or 2/ they do show up and pelt us with over-ripe tomatoes or other weaponry, we could adjourn to Brady's for refreshment.

Sadly Roy, I will be unable to double the number of really interesting and important people in the square on Tuesday, unfortunately I have to stay and be boring in the UK, until the 2nd of October.

After that date, you and I could certainly be seen in the square, and rumour has it that the boy Pato may be there to open doors etc for us!

One thing I would love, at some time, is one of those famous Roy flights if that is possible???

Best regards

Bruce

Sorry to hear that you are still lazing in the sun in Surrey rather than being here to meet your adoring public.

Being quite a shy retiring sort of person myself, I will henceforward lay low until October and then hopefully bask in the glory of yourself and Pato.

With regard to flying, I still regularly survey my empire from aloft and would be only too happy to further elevate you - or any other forumers who wish to defy gravity - when you are next over.

I will e-mail you with details.
