Hiya, HELP...... we are looking for a gym in the area which has air con that actually makes you feel cool!!!! have some serious running to be done by daughter as she is training for a half marathon in October, she doesn't get on well with the heat and running.

Tried the one in Lagoa above the tile shop but the air con was virtually non existent, the Carvoeiro tennis club has NO air con, do any of the hotels in the area have gyms with air con???? anyone know??????

Sorry, LJ, can't help with the Gym, but which half-marathon is your daughter running in?

She is doing the Royal Parks in London on October 12th. She is running to raise money for NACC (National association for Crohn's and Colitis) I think she has decided that the gym in Lagoa is going to have to do, at least it does have some air con and maybe they can find a fan for her too. She runs about 5 - 6K around her part of Acton and really wanted to get her kilometers up while she was here as it is getting closer now...... I think she is getting a little worried about it now, I know I couldn't do it.

Thanks for that, it does look like the one in Lagoa is the closest one to us, so I think she will stick with that one now.
