What is the weather usually like in mid-september? Also, does it get particularly windy this time of year up at Rocha Brava/Clube Atlantico?

With some of the comments you have been getting recently I wouldn't be surprised if there is a dark cloud looming over your head at all times

We are coming over 22nd August for 17 days and we are hoping for extremely hot and sunny weather like we have had for the last two years at that time. We were out mid May and could not believe how changeable the weather was - nothing like what we were expecting!!
Roll on 6 weeks Friday

The weather in September is, usually, el scorchio. Actually, it usually is in October aswell. And most of November, for that matter!

We have been to Carvoeiro for the last 4 years in September and have had fantastic weather every year can't wait for this September. We had a week out there in June and the weather was fantastic but for some reason the mozzies always bite me in June but never in September

We have been to CVO in September every year for the last 12 years and invariably 95% of the time the weather is excellent. However, you should always expect at least 1 dull/rainy day in a fortnight in September - the worst we have had is 3 days of rain - and also expect the wind to get up in the afternoons.
September is always best from my point of view - the temperatures don't reach the scorchers of July and August and the schools are back so theoretically there are very few children about!
