If the villa is up the steep hill, it's very near my parent's villa.
There is work being done there for a development near the hotel Solferias.

It's very noisy according to my parents and we've actually turned a rental down because of it.

Not being out there, I can't really verify how noisy and I can't locate your villa exactly but I'm sure someone else on the forum will be able to help.

I think the villa is indeed up the steep hill, so thinking we shall be packing ear plugs for the 4 of us!! In true Brit style shall keep a stiff upper lip and focus on a great holiday if anyone can give us some info would be much appreciated.
