.................for a weeks stay in a self catering apartment? Could someone maybe help me out here? I realise the euro rate isnt so good anymore and we're trying to budget accordingly. I dont drink alcohol but hubby does and I guess we'll be buying stuff in to have breakfast and probably eating out at night!
I realise its a bit of a daft question as everyone spends differently but I thought Id ask!! Someone might be able to give some guidance!!

Ballpark 4-500 euros between you....but it depends on how well you will eat.
There are several ATMs if you get short

Another thing Yonny, is the electricity included or gas if used? We rented a villa for 2 months and had to pay for gas & electricity extra(also wireless internet).

I think its how long is a piece of string. But I would guess €100 per day for a couple would be needed to have a good holiday. If you are on a budget then obviously cut the cloth to suit. You should take a taxi up to Intermarche (Plus is further up the road and its similar to Aldi if you are on a budget) and get everything you need for the week including beers etc. That will probably cost you €100 but you should then have everything you need for the week. A good meal out for two will cost you €25-€30 each for all the courses (a main course only would be about €15) and after that it very much depends on what you want to do. A snack during the day in the village with a toastie and coffee or beer for two would be about €10. But if you allow €100 per day you will not be worrying about money. I'm a different animal and I tend to take a lot of money with me but I'm a high maintenance guy with a high maintenance family so its a little different. If you want to keep it tight then you can manage on about €400. If you dont have a car pay for a taxi up to the supermarket. The local shops will fleece you. P.S. I was in Disneyland Florida two years back and then spent a few days in New York and blew €15k. A colleague of mine at work with a similar family did something "similar" on €3.5k so its very much down to the individual
