• Barclays Bank in Carvoeiro

Hi we are coming out to Carvoeiro in June and has anybody used the new Barclays Bank and do you get charged if you are a Barclays UK customer?

Barclays in Portugal is nothing to do with Barclays in the UK, so yes you do get the same charges.

If you use a nationwide card to get money out there are no charges. I would imagine that if you use a barclays debit card you will be charged.

I have never been charged for using my Barclays debit card, only get a crap exchange rate for doing so.
