Hi,

I'm in the process of moving to The Algarve and am I bit overwhelmed by the bureaucracy involved. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) of companies that advertise assistance in re-locating?

I might be doing the same thing but will rent first... a great book out is called Going to live in Portugal by Susan ... sorry forgot surname - anyway it gives you a great guide to moving out there and some great phone numbers and websites - hope this helps

If you are buying, would also recommend "Buying Property in Portugal" by Gabrielle Collinson, who used to post on this forum as Bruxinha.
