Strange, can't imagine it will stay there as that is where O Patio puts it's tables and chairs

With O Patios prices, they cant afford to leave it there!

I think it should be placed about 10 miles out to sea. It ruins the look of the square & the entertainment(?) that we've seen over the years has been not good, to put it kindly. Same with the one at Ferragudo.

I have to agree with you on the whole there, Blue - with the exception of some fire-eating ladies in bikinis about three years ago
Occassionally there has been some half-decent music but it has appeared to have declined in quality over the last few years.

Additionally - didn't I read sometime ago the entetainment is paid for by the businesses round the square. There are fewer now than a few years back, so perhaps there is not the money to get the more expensive musicians etc.

Maybe we should have a whip round and get the fire eating ladies back!

I've never managed to make it down to the square during the summer - tend to use the restaurants up the hill. Sounds like it has been a good choice!!!

Looks to me like it's been put up next to O Patio, in front of the ruin. I don't recall seeing a stage in the square in the past couple of years.
Anyone know what the line up/calender is?

The lineup and calender will be shown on
http://www.carvofestas.com and click on the events tab. There is nothing there at the moment so presumably no acts confimed as yet.

I asked at the Tourist office and they said it was for an evening event next Thursday which is a bank holiday. The entertainers were described as Portuguese singers.
