HI ALL,
We are currently on holiday in carvoeiro and have been here since Sunday. What's up with the weather? Does anybody know if it's going to improve? If not can anyone suggest any day trips that a worth a go?
Thanks

Sitting in a cafe by the marina in Lagos, Silves castle and the museum in Silves are great, Algarve shopping

, a trip to the far West coast in the car is great, if the weather is bad you still get a wonderful view of the end of Portugal. Go to the East side of Faro and explore there, basically get a good map and do some exploring.

......... and it has been lovely in the UK (at least in the South) since the beginning of the month, warmer than the Algarve - but set to get cooler later this week.

I think it was Billy Connolly who said that there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes.
Take a trip up to Lisbon. Its an easy 2 hour drive, the Oceanarium is excellent.

Grey and chilly today too. I can't remember ever having to wear a jumper here in May before. I'm making the most of it before the unbearable heat of summer arrives!!
