Sorry, Ferragudo site seems to have a problem. I wonder if anyone knows this development? Specifically, the one bed holiday accomodation, rather than the more residential bit. I'm looking to book for late June but can only find artist's impressions. Basically, I want to know if it's a functioning complex or a building site. Any info appreciated.

Lots of building works in that area but some sections complete so it depends on location.

Have a look at http://www.vitorsvillage.com/

We went and had a look around on Sunday and it all looks very nice. There is still a bit of landscaping to complete and we think a few of the apartments are not yet ready but this is not affecting the hotel.

But the swimming pools (3 in total) and the other areas are all complete and look great. There is a fantastic terrace where you can relax on large double sunbeds with a drink admiring the stunning views of Ferragudo and Portimao.

I am sure you will have a fabtime :D

Thanks again all for your input. Have booked for two weeks from end of June. Bringing some friends who have never been to the Algarve and looking forward to showing them all the places we are so fond of. We usually stay in Cvo but they particularly liked the look of this place. Expect we'll spend quite a bit of time in Cvo - Jota Lita here I come!
I know my original query wasn't Cvo related but , as I started it, I'll post when I get back with the lowdown on Vitors.
