Can anyone advise the easiest route from Junction 6 (A22) to Lidl in Parchal near Ferragudo.

Thanks Rosie

I don't know which Junction is 6 but if you are going out of Portimao towards Lagoa on the N125 take the Ferragudo turning after you have crossed the new bridge. Follow the road towards Ferragudo and you come to traffic lights where it is a left turn and Lidl is immediately on your left as you turn. Can't miss it.

Junction 6 is Silves/Lagoa, we're 8 at Algoz.

so is it best to come off at junction 8 or junction 6?

The nearer you are to Faro the higher the junction number, get off at 6 - Silves/Lagoa head into Lagoa (follow signs for Lagoa sul) pick up the N125 sign posted for Portimao & then follow signs for Parchal, someone else on here may be able to give you more detailed instructions on how to get to the Lidl, I could drive there but not sure on how accurate my directions would be to someone else.

On another note what would happen if they extended the A22 beyond Lagos to Sagres, seeing as Lagos is junction 1 would they go into minus figures? :D

When you come off the A22 follow the signs towards Lagoa but DON't go into Lagoa. You will reach a point at which the road splits with the left hand lane sign posted to Lagoa Sul - you want the right hand lane towards Portimao. This will put you on the old road towards Portimao. After a short while you will see a slip road off to your right signposted Ferragudo. Take this exit and it will lead you over the road you have left and take you towards Estombar & Ferragudo. Stay on this road going straight over at any traffic lights, straight over the first big roundabout and then you will find Lidl on your left at the second roundabout.

Thanks for your directions, I need to find the quickest route to Lidl's in Parchal as I have friends who live just behind the supermarket and when I travel directly from Faro I get lost. I end up going the "pretty" route through Sesmarias and down through the Ferragudo road which although is a nicer route I am sure is the long way.
