Booked for 19 Dec to 3 Jan. Happy with the cost, it being £8 less than last year

I like Brum. We stay overnight at the Holiday Inn (with parking). It's just two hours from Lincoln . . . which is far better than Gatwick. Apart from the legroom on Monarch flights being a bit mean I like flying with them. Also, you can check-in online and that's a time saver.

Hope the fast track check in at Birmingham is better than Gatwicks, would have been quicker on the normal check in desks. As it happens you can check in on these as well. Found that out later

Manchester flights not on sale yet - no problems with Monarch - always pay that little extra for the legroom.

Roll on 5 weeks on Friday - Rocha Brava here we come
