Hi All
I have heard this place mentioned many many times on the forum, and, although we have been to CVO many times I don't know where it is. Can anyone help me? Who knows, we have probably been there and not known.

Do you mean the Bistro or the general area? If you are driving, you turn left towards the top of Restaurant Hill going out of town. It's signposted from there. If you are walking (very nice walk) go up the hill past the chapel and just follow the cliff paths. Be careful if you have kids.
There are loads of little paths and steps cut into the rocks, some of them not for the faint-hearted.
It's a lovely spot, you must go next time.

Thanks LB
We have had many walks along the cliffs there, I agree, it is a lovely walk. I, however, didn't know that was Algar Seco, i'm happy now I know where it is that everyone is talking about.
Mind you though I don't remember seeing a bar/restaurant up there

That kinda depends on which way you're facing

I thought if you were heading towards the car park area at AS it was on your left but maybe I'm getting confused.

Only ever went there once and it was chucking it down. I don't recall a 100 foot drop into the sea though

Thanks for the clarification.

Or whether you know which is your left or which is your right, the answer seems to indicate the poster is "brailing" a little, tell him not to go down there in the dark.
