There once was a poster named "Guest"
Who made of himself quite a pest.
He was ever so vocal
On topics not local
And will do so forever
I guess.

To Carvoeiro the town, the dot com and the people who love it!

A home from home, a sanctuary
a warm and caring place to be
amongst my friends in CVO
away from harm, away from foe

With arms of generosity
with love abound for you and me
this forum heals hurt and pain
giving strength to live again

There are those who do not know the way
who whine and moan each passing day
whose humour cuts deep like a knife
because they hold less dearly life

And yet a solid heart is found down deep
to keep those nightmares from our sleep
And even those who post as guest
can join the fun and joke and jest

And when the day draws to an end
I return to you my faithful friend
always there and always true
I know that I can rely on you

if sometimes only to p**s me off!

Mads :)

Maddi--that was really good----methinks you an"Oxbridge" grad---let me see-----dark blue?

Just thought of this :

Home is where the heart is

and mine is torn in two

Half is in my England green

and half by sea so blue

noone needs to guess this place

Carvoeiro-this is you!

Boa noite----Ellie

Hands over face! Blimey--mine wasnt that bad--was it?
Thought Mads was excellent--you'll have to look to your laurels guest!
As for the book--you'll have a long wait --if ever it should appear in a library--it isnt even half finished--writing a poem of a dozen words is a little bit different from completely one of at least 50.000!
Time is the enemy--particularly when you got out to work --run a home--and --what I most enjoy--writing on here and the Corner!
VIVE CVO.COM! Have a nice one--Ellie.
