Hi all, only a week til we are back in CVO and hopefully to some sunshine and relaxation. Few drinkies too!!

Could someone please tell me what shops, bars , restaurants etc will be open over the easter hols, Easter sunday and Monday in particular.

Does everything close on those days or are most things open still?

Soooooo looking forward to my hols! A nice bottle o wine overlooking the sea, rather than a cuppa in front o the fire here!!!!

PS there used to be a bar/restaurant up near Colina Sol called Algarve 2000 I think?? Are they still open?? They had huge pool tables etc also

Algarve 2000. Not the most highly regarded Bar Restaurant in the area, but you are right, it does have the pool tables.
Probably will be open.

The good news is that my son is staying in Centiannes this week....and the weather and the beach are great!!!

We went to Algarve 2000 as my son really took to the place and it was only 2 mins from Colina Sol. I got fed up driving up and down in vain o gettin a parking space in the town!!!

Just reaaaaaaaaaaly looking forward to our hols!

Just heard from my son, George at Algarve 2000 is shut this week, but tables are outside, so he might open for Easter.

The bar next door has a pool table, and is open.

Its only today (friday) and sunday that are holidays here we dont get the monday off too (unfortunatly! ) so everything should be open as normal on Monday.

I heard that George from Algarve 2000 was calling it a day.
The tables were out beginning of march but he never opened.
