This email was sent to me this morning, please send it on to as many people as you know.

Dear friends,

Please read this and try and help me with this important matter. The other day a car pulled up next to one of my daughters near my home in Porches. The person in the car had his trousers down and tried to pull my daughter into the car. Luckily I have a strong daughter and she managed to free herself and fled. Even more lucky, a car arrived nearby after the incident so the person that was after my daughter decided to dissapear. I have been to the police to report this and they are on the look-out but would like to do more in order to get this bastard! Therefor I ask all of you to keep an eye out for me for the following car/driver:
A big new looking black jeep with tinted glass and dutch number plates
A male person, around 40 years, grey hair in a ponytail, wearing various big flashy gold rings
If you see a person as described above please call me imediately on 919310001, if you find a car matching the criteria please write down the number-plate and if you can, take a picture of the back of the car and let me know asap.

Thank you very much for helping and please send this message to all your friends, the more people on the look-out, the better!!!!!!!!!!

Rolf

If it is a hoax it's disgraceful - if it isn't then we should all be on the look out for this pervert.

No I don't think it is a hoax. It would be a very sick one if it was!

We had a similar incident with a 12 year old girl in our school. She was sitting on a wall and a guy in a hoodie grabbed her. She is a big 12 year old and gave him a good kick before running off.

When she told me about it, she said the worst thing was the feeling that the police didn't really believe her.

Luckily, it hasn't appeared to upset her too much.

Dunno, but if you keep registering new usernames to have a go at people, I will have something to say.

I am a new member and joined the Forum as I took the matter of this attempted rape seriously. However I appreciate one can never be certain of such matters now a days as there are many such hoaxes.
When a posting is made that "it is a hoax" and this statement is not substantiated in any way it is clearly upsetting to to those members who have made postings in good faith and with knowledge of the matter.
Surely it is not unreasonable to ask the person who made the statement "it is a hoax" to comment further when it would now seem that this matter was not a hoax.
It was not my intention to get at anybody but merely to ascertain if there was any justification for the posting.
I think hampshire Rich's further posting says it all.

Whilst I do understand your motive for registering and posting on this particular subject, I'd just like to point out for the sake of clarity, that a post like yours - directed and purposeful, coming from a brand new user, will always provoke mistrust due to your lack of "credibility" derived from your "single orange" status. I hope that makes sense. :?

With regards to the topic, I am a bit concerned about the vigilante-nature of the original publication. That said, given the recent events, it is pefectly understandable that anyone actually affected by such an incident would resort to any means at their disposal to protect their family.

I realize that events like this would make any law-abiding citizen want to inflict serious bodily harm to such an individual, but I urge you to remain objective and provide assistance where possible to a constructive investigation.
