Travel Insurance

I need help on this one.
We have had annual travel insurance with the same company for 6 years without problems. I am 66 years young now.
The problem is that the the insurance company says that it cannot insure me on renwal as I will be 67 years young. It can however insure me on their Senior Citizens cover.
I didnt realise that you were over the hill when you reached 67.
Their seniors policy will only cover you for 21 days with no extention and cost half as much again as previous.
The problem is that we have already booked to stay at RB for 6 weeks at the start of June. How do I get around this and what do other long stayers do?
I have looked on the internet and whilst there are plenty of travel insurers I cant find one to cover over 31 days.
How would the insurance company know if I was there for 21 days or 61 days?
Any Ideas would be appreciated.
