• Buying Cigarettes

Where can you buy cigarettes in Carvoeiro please? Is it like other parts of Europe where you can only buy in specialist shops?

Well, yes, you can only buy in specialist shops which happen to be every other shop in the village. Or there is the supermarkets, or the airport and they are all the same price.

Thanks e-richard. When I was in Menorca last year finding a tobacco shop was like looking for gold dust

There are also cigarette machines in the village

At one point I counted 12 "Garrafeira" shops in Carvoeiro centre, all stocked to the ceiling with bricks of all sorts of brand coffin nails.... and plenty of alcohol to wash them down with.
