Yeah !! lets hope the sun stays out and the rain stays away. The schools parade is on friday from 10-12 around the town , plenty of ooh arent they cute. then Fun until back to work thursday.
If you havent joined in the fun before or are on holiday it doesnt matter let your hair down.
If you have got little ones 7 and under and you are on holiday take them over to Play Oasis in Ferragudo , they are having a carnival day on monday , 10 - 1 where your little ones can dress in fancy dress ( check out the chinese shops ) , they are having the tallest man in the world and face painting. They have an inside soft play area and outside sandpit , see saw and slide.
Its great for parents as well , relax outside in the sun while the children have fun. ( hey im a poet !! )

My sprogs have been going there for 7 years .

Both the Carvoeiro schools are in the parade, the little ones from the pre-primaria also, which means ages 3+. I think a lot of the teachers and parents will be dressing up also. I just hope I can get parked somewhere close, as I couldn't last year!

I remember it well. I served my time as a parent in pre-primaria. I seem to remember I was Minnie Mouse and in charge of stopping the traffic. Lovely memories. My babies are 16 now, mind you, you're never too old for carnival! Enjoy! Wish I was there to see it.

I am going to be working , but I have told mine that I am sticking my head out the door to see him , Hopefully lots of pictures will be taken an passed on .
