Popped over last week for a few days and tried this place out.
One of the best.
Great bar and great food.

It is just out of Sesmarias on the Ferragudo road. It is well reviewed on the Restaurant forum.

Unfortunately, I think it is closing for 1 month very soon (if not already).

It's closed now and re-opens on 14 February.

Went for lunch to this restaurant and found the food very good but we thought rather expensive. Much prefer Metabixa for lunch - the Hawaian Toasty is excellent but we would like a smile from the girl serving, cooking and washing up. Last time we went in she was cleaning the kitchen as well and could not do the toasties, bowl of chips and rose wine we requested. Had to leave but will be back next week!

we have never seen a menu or price list displayed outside this "cafe" and everyone says they are expensive that we talk to .Is it not nice to know the menu and prices before you go in? , and every place we have ever gone has a clear price list or menu at the front door that gives us some clue what we will be eating !

Is this place open now? Helen said that it's closed until 14th Feb'.
