Thank you Carol - you are doing a great job on those newsletters. I especially enjoyed reading the November letter, but would have loved to see you in the burgundy dress. (Burgundy - as in red wine- is my color!) I am saving the letter and plan on doing some of the things you described when we are over in January, hopefully the places are open in Winter.

 Great newsletter as always Carol, very informative, it is great to get a view on some of the new places that have opened, especially from a local, as we only ever get out for a few days it is nice to plan ahead on places for coffee or to try for dinner in the evening.

Keep up the good work

Every time the newsletter comes out I have to remember where it is located. So having just found it here's a link for anyone who has the same problem.

Trouble is that link will only last a month Laser. Unless of course, you want to keep re-reading the Nov 07 newsletter

The link is right there on the front page of CVO.COM website, linked form the oranges at the top left of this and every page - a lot easier

Its great for us who don't get to visit as frequently as we'd like.
Carol's newletter gives us snippets of info about familiar places and gives us pointers for new things to do when we get back.
Hugs from both of us.

:D Oops, meant to say I enjoyed the newsletter too, very interesting about the new butcher's shop, we were really sad when we heard the Portuguese butcher's was closing as they were excellent at least we're getting a new one to replace it, I hope they're as good I'm sure they will be. I wonder if he'll be selling chipolatas this christmas.

Very interesting and informative, Carol. sorry to hear that John is ousted from the Bistro Bar at Algar Seco, but change is good and he was difficult to deal with both for customers and management. It will certainly be more pricey now. Thanks :D

I love reading the newsletter as it bring places/events to life when I'm back in cold dark England and reminds me of the attraction of CVO (if I ever needed reminding). Well done!
