Hi Jose A! It is a strange time for Canadians or yanks to be visiting CVO.
It would definatley be Canadians (yanks haven't discovered it yet - thank god!) and maybe one of the 3 tour companies in Canada offered a very good special to fill in the slack time for them. Sometimes you can go for 1 week at $799CND - includes air, car, and accomodation. Which is great considering that we are being gouged $1780/per person AIR ONLY in Feb. 2008

We always have a lot of Canadian neighbours when we come out in March - several come away for six weeks or so to escape the end of their winter. And a very friendly bunch they are, too!

I read somewhere 90% of americans don,t own a passport  ,Is that because 90% of them would struggle getting into the seats on the plane?

Im One American who love's Carvoeiro and fit nicely in her air plane seats thank you very much. It maybe that there are not a lot of Americans because Portugal is not advertised at all and no direct flights. It took me 10 hours just to get to Faro for my holiday in Sept.
