Hi guys, back in town for another go at it in October !!!!! (5th time this year) Can anyone tell me how best to book a few rounds of golf. If I contact the clubs directly and try to book over the phone the pricing is ridiculous and trying to book on the net is not great either. Any help would be appreciated. Travelling down 15th Oct to 21st and hoping to play close by. (golf that is

) Also if anyone knows the phone number for the golf shop on the village it would be appreciated as he might know how best to book some golf.
Thanks

I'm not a golf player, but found this for you (it is the shop at the beginning at the "in-road" at the right hand side):

We are not golfers, but friends who are found the website
www.algarve-golf.co.uk and the contact Richard Ballington very helpful in organising some games for them - don't know if they were at discount prices or not. We were talking to some golfers when we were out earlier this month and they belonged to 'GolfingGreys' which they reckoned was excellent for getting good prices - but don't want to make assumptions about your age!
We have got reductions at one of the local clubs by just asking for their 'best' price for 'regular' customers - always worth a try!
Good luck!

Lets get one thing straight gang "I am not eligible for golf for greys" HOW DARE YOU !!!!

only joking. 38 and in the gym 4 days a week to slow the process down !! Might see you during our stay Baggy. Playing Gramacho 16th and Mirgado 18th Oct. Beware the lunatic in the pink polo shirt looking the part and throwing all the right shapes but not able at the end of the day to hit the bloody thing. There is a "flying debris" warning in the square between the hours of 9-1.00pm on 16th as a golf ball might bounce down from Gramacho.
