BT have now added Portugal to their BT Together Package. If you are subscribed to their BT Together package and pay an extra £1 per month, all calls to Portugal are 5p pe4r minute. Great news for those with family back in the UK who need to ring Portugal a lot.

Also, for those who have villas/businesses over here and are currently diverting their UK phone number to Portugal at approx 17p per minute, you can now have an 0870 number which diverts to Portugal for nothing during weekdays and 1p a minute on weekends. This is great for us as we advertise our business with a UK number as we find that people won't ring foreign numbers as a) the cost and b) they are afraid that there is a foreign speaking person on the other end.
